4 Week Omer Study Session with Hazzan Steve

Have you ever wondered why so many blessings begin with “Baruch Atah HaShem, Eloheinu Melech HaOlam”? Or what those words individually and collectively really mean? Join Hazzan Steve Margolin for a dive into this and related topics, as we read and discuss Rabbi Marcia Prager’s book, The Path of Blessing. This four-session class will be over four consecutive weeks between Pesach and Shavuot (April or May), on Zoom. The book deals with Hebrew words and letters, but you can read and enjoy Rabbi Prager’s fascinating teachings without any prior knowledge of Hebrew.

The class is free to members of CBI. The cost for non-members is $18 (and please contact Hazzan Steve if that cost is a hardship). The book is available new and used from the usual booksellers. There is a Kindle edition that is said to have the same page numbers as the print editions. The class enrollment may be limited to a number of participants that makes for enjoyable engagement in the Zoom environment.

Please contact Hazzan Steve by email to enroll or if you have questions. The meeting times for the class will be arranged in consultation with the participants.
